A prescription is a clinical decision, not a product. The doctor assesses your symptoms, your history and any medication you already take, and prescribes only where doing so is appropriate and safe for your situation.
That means a consultation comes first, every time. Some concerns can be resolved and prescribed for remotely. Others need examination or testing before anyone can responsibly prescribe, and in those cases you will be told what is needed instead.
